Connections: Free Daily Word Association Puzzle Online

Connections is a free daily word and association puzzle inspired by New York Times Connections. The goal is to find four secret groups of four words that share a common thread, without making more than four mistakes.

The colors indicate category difficulty: Yellow is the most straightforward and obvious. Green is medium difficulty. Blue is tricky and requires general knowledge or trivia. Purple is the trickiest category, often featuring wordplay, puns, homophones, or clever lateral thinking.

When you submit four words and three of them belong to the same secret group, the game alerts you that you are just one word away from finding the connection. Think carefully about which word might belong to another category!
